We are happy to announce the launch of the Knowledge Centre Global Health's (KCGH) new online learning platform, a significant milestone in our mission to enhance global health knowledge exchange. This Moodle-based platform is freely accessible and offers a range of e-learning opportunities designed to meet the needs of both novices and experienced professionals in the field of global health.
What's Available?
Currently, the platform features:
- Pre-departure Course for Medical Students: Developed by the University of Groningen, this course is tailored for medical students embarking on international health electives, covering key topics such as global health, public health, global mental health, reproductive health, and malnutrition.
- Introduction to Planetary Health: This comprehensive course, developed in collaboration with Elevate Health, UMC Utrecht, the Asian University for Women, and the EWUU Alliance, dives deep into the various aspects of planetary health, preparing learners to tackle one of the most pressing issues of our time.
Soon, we will expand our offerings to include four additional courses from the University of Utrecht on topics such as epidemiology, maternal and child health, public health, and environmental and planetary health.
